Dr. Garg has developed programs and provided dental care in non-traditional settings for over 12 years. His career working in low resource, rural and remote settings in Australia and overseas has provided insight into the value of innovations for communities most in need of dental care. His work has been informed by qualifications in healthcare including Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Graduate Certificate in International Health. His Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and pursuit of a Masters in Health Economics, Policy and Management inform skills required for regulatory compliance and risk assessment in complex healthcare settings. He continues to work towards maintaining NSQHS Accreditation to the Dental and Hospital NSQHS standards. Regulatory compliance and Risk Management skills inform his role on the Executive Council, Australian Dental Association South Australia Branch. Dr Garg holds positions at Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT, Campbell Law and Charles Darwin University.
