SHIDA TAHERI
Director
Shida Taheri is an OHT who embarked on her dental career immediately after high school. Starting as a dental assistant in a private practice, Shida observed a significant gap in preventive dental health and became driven to make a positive impact.
Currently serving as the Industry Partnership Officer for the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia (DHAA), Shida plays a crucial role in fostering relationships between industry leaders and organising Continuing Professional Development events.
Shida founded her own mobile dental business called Dental On Demand several years ago. With a mission to provide comprehensive dental services, Shida's business serves diverse settings such as childcare centers, aged care facilities, homes, and schools. Through Dental On Demand, she addresses the oral healthcare needs of populations that face challenges in accessing traditional dental care.
Through her role at Mobile Dental Providers Australia, Shida aims to foster knowledge sharing and community-building among dental professionals venturing into mobile dentistry. The organisation serves as a platform for networking, sharing best practices, and empowering dental professionals to establish and operate successful mobile dental businesses.
